DAY 02: HANOI / CITY TOUR (B/L/-)

After breakfast, the start your city tour with a visit to Ba Dinh Square to see Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - the museum to his life and the simple cottage where he lived and worked. Then visit the Presidential Palace, house on stilts and One Pillar pagoda (locally known as Chua Mot Cot) originally built in 1040 A.D. on a pillar constructed of a single large tree trunk.

Later, have a stroll along the West Lake to visit Tran Quoc temples. The former is a Taoist temple in Hanoi, Vietnam. Dated to the 11th century, the temple was dedicated to Xuan Wu, or Trn Vũ in Vietnamese, one of the principal deities in Taoism. The latter is the oldest pagoda in the city, originally constructed in the sixth century during the reign of Emperor Lý Nam Đế (from 544 until 548), thus giving it an age of more than 1,450 years. Then visit Van Mieu (Temple of Literature), which dates back to 1070 and is dedicated to the cult of Confucius. Lunch at a local restaurant.

DAY 03: HANOI / HA LONG CRUISE (b/l/d)

07.30-08.00: You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transferred to Ha Long (For guests booking Limousine Bus or shuttle bus only).

06.15: Start your day with Tai Chi class on the sundeck.

06.30-07.00 Enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea, cake and fruit.

07.30 Exploring Sung Sot cave. This is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay. The cave has some unique rock formations which couldn’t be found anywhere else. The path to the mouth of Sung Sot Cave is under a canopy of leaves. Walking through steep stone steps, tourists may have the feeling of climbing on mountains and experience the excitement as if they are stepping to the sky.

08.30-09.30 Back on board, you can rest in your room, enjoy the herbal foot bath prepared by our crew, sunbathe on the sundeck, take pictures of HaLong Bay or shop for souvenirs on the boat.

DAY 05: CAM THANH PALM VILLAGE / CORACLE BOAT RIDE / HOI AN VISIT (B/L/-)

After breakfast, drive Cam Thanh village which is just some km from Hoi An’s center. Cam Thanh village is very famous for its Bay Mau (7 hectares) Coconuts palm forest - You can enjoy the verdant nature all around as well as spend time for fishing by the traditional way with inhabitants. It is a really pleasant time for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air of the countryside. Upon arrival, experience the coracle ride which is the main transport for fishing in the village.

In the afternoon you will take Hoi An sightseeing of Japanese covered bridge, Handicraft workshops, Tan Ky old house, Fujian assembly hall and the 15th century Chuc Thanh Pagoda. Also, visit a lantern making shop where you will see how to make lantern which is kind of a traditional product of Hoi An. DAY 06: HOI AN / DANANG / HUE (B/L/-)

After breakfast, get on the car and depart to Hue through small villages and emerald green rivers in the blue water of East Sea. Then continue to Hue, conquer the 10-km long, 500 meters high Hai Van Pass (pass of the Clouds). At the summit, explore French and American forts, while enjoying panoramic views of the coast. Arrive in Hue, start your city tour today by exploring the Imperial Citadel of Hue (the home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty, the Nguyen Dynasty (1802 – 1945) with Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh)... DAY 08 : SAIGON /FREE AT LEISURE / SIEM REAP (B/-/-)

DAY 09: SIEM REAP / ANGKOR THOM / TA PROHM / ANGKOR WAT (B/L/-)

Early this morning, before the dawn, enjoy the scenic sunrise over Angkor Wat Temple.

Then, back to the hotel for the breakfast. Next, visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Then, visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery.

In the afternoon, visit to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.

After the breakfast, continue to stroll around Banteay Samre temple which was built in 12th century during Angkor period, admired by its serenity, take some beautiful photo before heading to reveal the intricately carved, beautiful red-pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei - considered to be a Jewel of Khmer art which features elaborate decorations and its finest details. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a “precious gem”. On the way back, we will stop at Preah Dak village for a short tour, enjoying to observing the real-life of Cambodian in this area, how they make a living from the hand-made products, how to producing sugar palm and fruit itself.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake at KAMPONG PHLUK VILLAGE. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place-to-place following water levels and current. EXCURSION TO ninh binh

DAY 03: HANOI / HOA LU ANCIENT CAPITAL / TAM COC / BOAT RIDE / JADE CAVE (B/L/-)

After breakfast at hotel, then head out to Hoa Lu which was once depicted the ancient capital of Viet Nam, settling up in the 10th century. Also, visit temples of two dynasties of Dinh and Le with a very unique architecture in the old time. DAY 02: HANOI – LAO CAI by OVERNIGHT TRAIN

After the city tour in Hanoi, take the overnight train to Lao Cai (shared A/C 4 soft-sleeping berth cabin)

 

DAY 03: LAO CAI - SAPA – Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI – TA VAN – SAPA (B.L)

Walking distance: Approximately 6 km – 4 hours. Difficulty level: Light

Upon arrival at Lao Cai railway station early (around 05.45am), be picked up by our guide and driver, then depart to Sapa. Stop at a restaurant for breakfast before going down to Muong Hoa valley. Beginning of the trip is the moment for admire the panorama view of the town and then the valley from the main road. After 4km on the main road, we start going down to the valley by the small trails through the terrace rice fields to get to Y Linh Ho hamlet, a small village of the Black Hmong people.

From Y Linh Ho village, we go along the river to go to Lao Chai village (means "old village" in the local dialect). It is time for you to visit the local families, listen to your guide's explanation about the local culture: how they live, way of building the traditional house, and techniques of making clothes... or listen about the way of treatment for a sick person.

Continue to Ta Van village, the Giay people's residence. The guide to bring you into some family: listen about their life, enjoy some green tea, and learn about the differences of their culture from the other hill tribes even they leave close to each other.

Finally, drive to hotel in center for check-in and overnight in Sapa

After breakfast, drop off at the meeting point where you stroll around the village and visit hospitable Red Zao families at Ta Phin hill villages to learn about their culture. You will go off the main road, onto hilly mountainous trails. Your surrounding is filled with lush vegetation, pine forest and fresh air. You will experience the untouched beauty of the area.

Ma Tra is about 3 km walking from Ta Phin which is the newly added location in a series of villages in Sapa that visitors can go to. The village is about 5km from the town of Sapa. This has around 50 households, resided by only H’Mong people. Ma Tra village has restored the traditional flax weaving loom, forging tools and carved silver production as part of tourism. Experience tribal life on mountain, see how the locals make clothes and handicrafts, and enjoy amazing scenery that you can never forget.Take the night train to Hanoi.
